Brodner's Cartoon du Jour: Things We Did Last Summer

October 10, 2008

Things We Did Last Summer

After all, the memory that will ring in John McCain's ears during his upcoming long winter vacation may be the things he heard in his rallies from the kind of human beings his campaign attracted, and whose "passion" he was counting on. It feels like he pretty much got what he ordered. Skol, my friend.

You will have venemous criticism from the extremes on both sides. I've heard hateful things said about both, Bush and Obama. There is a lot of passion on both sides but only one decent person. "John McCain on Friday moved to calm rising anger among his supporters at rival Barack Obama, describing him as a "decent person and a person that you do not have to be scared of as president of the United States." McCain was booed after the conciliatory words about his Democratic foe" - Seattle Times, October 11, 2008

McCain-Palin Rally Attendees Say Incredible, Ridiculous Things
Posted by Seth Colter Walls, Huffington Post at 12:42 PM on October 10, 2008.

"
File this one under the "give 'em enough rope" column. A pro-Obama blogger in Ohio caught McCain-Palin supporters as they streamed into a rally and asked some of the most salient questions of the day. Like, "is Obama a terrorist?" Check out the responses."

"UPDATE: Another video filmed outside a McCain event in Pennsylvania"

This is like saying there were bad Jews during Nazi Germany. I'm sure there were but the only ones who really were to blame were the Nazis and everyone knows it. The only ones really to blame are the neocon repugs, and everyone knows it.
